    Would you like to as Operational Excellence (OX) Expert be part of the journey towards a better Financial Crime defense in Nordea? We are now looking for a Lead Operational Excellence Expert who is eager to manage and develop the Operational Excellence Transformation Program and support the implementation of it in Transaction Monitoring & Sanctions Investigations (TMSI) area. We enable and initiate sustainable continuous improvement activities to create great customer experiences and improved efficiency in TMSI but also support the strategic projects in need.

    About this opportunity

    Welcome to TMSI Capacity & Management Information, in a unit in Transaction Monitoring & Sanctions Investigations called Customer Delivery Support. We in TMSI Capacity & MI team reduce complexity and boost operational efficiency by building Operational Excellence (OX) mindset and driving and supporting common ways of working across TMSI unit. Team is also working with data, reporting and act as subject matter experts. As Lead OX Expert you play a valuable role in shaping the Operational Excellence culture, building Operational Excellence capability and OX maindset and developing and implementing Operational Excellence Transformation Program in Transaction Monitoring & Sanctions Investigations area.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Shape and drive OX strategy and implement Operational Excellence Transformation Program
    • Shape and deploy continuous improvement tools and methods (daily management, problem solving, VSM, hoshin planning, gemba walks etc.)
    • Facilitate Kaizen events, OX workshops or other improvement initiatives
    • Support TMSI area in resolving issues through driving, coaching and mentoring problem solving sessions
    • Support TMSI's strategic projects using your OX knowledge and expirience
    • Support building continuous improvement culture and mindset by sharing, implementing and maintaining the OX best practises
    • Actively collaborating with OX communities and different senior stakeholders
    • Train and coach teams to build proper level of OX capability in TMSI
    • Lead the OX Capability Community consisting of local OX Drivers in TMSI
    • You'll join a dynamic and collaborative team with great atmosphere, where your team members and the nearest stakeholders can be located in the Nordic countries, Poland and Estonia. This role can be based in Poland or Estonia.

    • Have strong Microsoft Office skills and Power BI skills are plus
    • Experience in Group Financial Crime Prevention is plus
    • Your experience and background:

    • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in OX or Lean area
    • Experience in driving big changes in the organization or participate in the OX transformation project(s)
    • Certified in a relevant field, like Nordea OX Certications, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, is plus
    • Project management experience and/or knowledge (like Agile, SAFe) is plus
    • Risk management skills
    • Change management skills including good communication skills
    • Training and workshop facilitation skills
    • Professional collaboration skills with your team members and stakeholders
    • Critical thinking with problem solving skills
    • Adaptability
    • Professional in English (both written and spoken)
